A service invoice, bill of service or service receipt is a document that is provided when collecting due payments for services rendered. The invoice template can be used as a repair invoice template, consulting invoice template, contractor invoice template, solicitor invoice template, adviser invoice template, and many other small businesses. Line totals, subtotal, taxes, total and balance due are calculated using Excel.

The template has a big title "SERVICE INVOICE" in light green color on the top-right corner of the form indicating this is a service invoice. If you like to use it as a receipt template, simply type in the word "RECEIPT" to replace the words "SERVICE INVOICE".
Most of the sales invoice templates created by us at invoicingtemplate.com has a "Shipping To" section near the "Bill To" section on the top of the invoice form. Since this is a service invoice form that usually don't provide shipping information, the shipping section is replaced by a box titled with "JOB", where you can detail the job location or date range etc.
The invoice form works with Excel 2000, 2003, 2007, 2010 and 2013. Since it is provided in ".xls" format, when you run it in Excel 2007, 2010 and 2013, it is in "compatible mode". You can convert it to the new Excel spreadsheet format ".xlsx" easily by executing the "Save As" command in Excel.
On the top left corner there is a default invoicingtemplate.com logo image. This is a place holder for your own logo image. To replace it with your own image, first switch to design mode and then right-click the invoicingtemplate.com logo image and choose Properties.
